We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Families First Team in Southend-on-Sea. This position is pivotal in delivering high-quality support to children and families, ensuring their needs are met in a compassionate and effective manner. You will work collaboratively with families, local agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to promote the welfare and safety of children, driving positive change in their lives.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans aimed at improving family dynamics and child well-being. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate services and ensure holistic support for families. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families as needed.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection, family support, or a similar field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
