We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection & Court Work team in Plymouth. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting families through complex legal processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Preparing and presenting reports for court proceedings, ensuring that the best interests of the child are always prioritized. Working closely with multi-agency teams to promote the welfare and safety of children. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the challenges they face.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England (SWE). Proven experience in child protection and court work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
