Are you a dedicated social work professional looking to make a significant impact in the Barnsley community? We are seeking a Practice Development - Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of social work practice, fostering professional development, and ensuring the highest standards of care for our service users.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a team of social workers to promote best practices and professional growth. Developing and implementing innovative practice frameworks that align with local and national policies. Conducting regular audits and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of social work interventions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for families and individuals. Providing expert advice and supervision to staff, ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in social work. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of supporting staff development.
