Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of expectant parents and their support systems. Providing emotional support and counseling to families during the prenatal period. Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to create effective care plans. Facilitating access to resources such as prenatal care, parenting classes, and mental health services. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with agency policies.

Essential qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with a valid social work license in the state of North Carolina. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in social work, preferably in a prenatal or child welfare setting. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
