We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Lancashire - QSW for our Child and Youth Justice Service located in Burnley. As a Qualified Social Worker in this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and advocating for vulnerable children and young people within the justice system.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and young people involved in the justice system. Developing and implementing care plans to address the identified needs and ensure their well-being. Providing direct support and intervention to children, young people, and their families to promote positive outcomes. Collaborating with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate services and support for the individuals under your care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification. Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and young people in a social work capacity, particularly within the justice system. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
