We are seeking a dedicated QA Auditor to join our Children's Services team in Bedford. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within the realm of Qualified Social Work. As a QA Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, reviewing case files, and providing insightful feedback to improve service delivery and outcomes for children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting regular audits of case files and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Collaborating with social work teams to identify areas for improvement and facilitate training where necessary. Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and presenting recommendations to management. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to children's social work. Participating in quality assurance meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant degree in Social Work or a related field, along with a recognized social work qualification. Proven experience in social work practice, particularly within children's services. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and identify key issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teams. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
