Join our dedicated team in Tower Hamlets as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need. As a QSW in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and appropriate interventions. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and development of children with disabilities. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to ensure holistic support for families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Providing advice and support to families, empowering them to navigate services and access resources effectively.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and working with children with disabilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
