Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people in the justice system? Hackney is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Lead to join our Youth Justice Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of social work practice, ensuring compliance with national standards, and driving continuous improvement within our services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the quality assurance framework to monitor and evaluate social work practices and outcomes. Conducting regular audits and reviews of casework to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Providing training and support to social workers to enhance their practice and promote best practices. Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for service improvement. Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management and external agencies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, particularly within youth justice or related fields. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
