We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection (CP) Team in Rotherham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to safeguard children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements. Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.Additional requirements include a commitment to continuous professional development and a valid driving license.
