In this vital role, you will play a key part in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing needs, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with various agencies to deliver effective interventions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support and protection. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize safety and well-being. Engaging with families, children, and other professionals to build trusting relationships. Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (or equivalent body). Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
