We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment and Intervention team in Slough. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met through comprehensive assessments and effective interventions. You will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals while promoting their well-being and independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ needs, strengths, and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing expert guidance and support to junior social workers and other team members. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Significant experience in social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
