Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a significant impact in the community? We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment and Intervention Team in Slough. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of vulnerable individuals and families, providing effective interventions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social care services. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the lives of those we serve.
As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks of clients. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Providing guidance and support to junior staff members and contributing to their professional development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate services and resources effectively.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in social work, preferably within an assessment and intervention setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
