We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Case Management Team in Shropshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, providing expert guidance to junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services in accordance with statutory regulations and best practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of clients and developing tailored care plans to address their unique circumstances. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and social work students, fostering their professional development. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations, to coordinate comprehensive care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in social work, with a focus on case management. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
