We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Social Worker - Children and Families to join our dynamic team in making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services, advocating for children's rights, and ensuring the welfare of children in various settings. Your expertise will guide families through challenges, helping them access essential resources and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Providing direct support and counseling to children and families, facilitating access to services and resources. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, to ensure holistic care. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers, providing guidance on case management and best practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Current social work license and relevant certifications. A minimum of 5 years of experience in child welfare or family services, with a focus on case management. Strong understanding of child protection laws, policies, and best practices.
