We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Camden, focusing on Children with Disabilities aged 0-25. This role is pivotal in ensuring that children and young people with disabilities receive the support they need to thrive. You will work collaboratively with families, educational institutions, and other professionals to assess needs and deliver tailored interventions that promote well-being and development.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and young people with disabilities to identify their needs and strengths. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and multi-agency teams. Providing expert guidance and support to families navigating complex systems and accessing necessary resources. Leading and supervising a team of social workers, ensuring high standards of practice and compliance with policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills and qualifications include:

A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification. Significant post-qualification experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong knowledge of legislation and best practices in social work. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
