As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in foster care. Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers and fostering staff. Leading case reviews and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Building strong relationships with foster carers, children, and external agencies. Facilitating training and development opportunities for fostering families.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in children's services, particularly in fostering. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a focus on child welfare.
