As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead casework, provide guidance to junior staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality social care services. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating care plans based on individual needs. Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers and students. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Engaging with families, community resources, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective interventions. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in social work, preferably within children or adult services. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
