We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Locality team in Stockport. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of individuals and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing supervision and mentorship to junior social workers and staff, fostering their professional development. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team knowledge and skills.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, particularly within a locality or community setting. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
