We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Sutton. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families within the community. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that promote well-being and safeguard vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legislative and organizational standards. Engaging with external agencies and community resources to enhance service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, particularly within a locality or community setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
