You will be responsible for managing complex cases, providing expert guidance to junior staff, and collaborating with various agencies to promote best practices in social work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments and developing comprehensive care plans for children and families. Providing supervision and support to social work staff, fostering their professional development. Engaging with families, children, and stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence to support the best interests of children. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW). Registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in children's social work, particularly in permanence planning. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
