We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Shropshire as part of the Compass (Initial Contact Team). In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conduct initial assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns and risks. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of service users. Provide support and guidance to individuals and families to promote their well-being and independence. Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure coordinated support for service users. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and progress.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and certification. Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working with vulnerable individuals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
