Join our dedicated team in Shropshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in the Duty and Assessment Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing appropriate interventions. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding vulnerable individuals and promoting positive outcomes within the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and responding to referrals in a timely manner. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislation and policy. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share insights.To qualify for this position, you must possess:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
