Join our dedicated team in Shropshire as a Senior Social Worker in the Case Management (CP) Team, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and supporting families in need. In this position, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, conducting assessments, and developing care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff and students, fostering a supportive and learning-oriented environment. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with organizational policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning for child welfare.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and case management. Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
