Join our dedicated team in Shropshire as a Qualified Social Worker in the Duty and Assessment Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and safeguarding investigations in a timely manner. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. Providing advice and support to families and caregivers to promote positive outcomes.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
