We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Single Point of Access (CSPoA) and Partnerships team in Reading. This vital role will involve working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to assess and support individuals and families in need of social care services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely access to appropriate resources and services, fostering partnerships within the community to enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients and developing tailored support plans. Providing expert guidance and support to junior social workers and staff, ensuring best practices are followed. Building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate effective service delivery. Monitoring and evaluating service outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in practice. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in social work, particularly in a community or partnership setting. Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on safeguarding and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
