We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Assessment and Intervention Team in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families within our community. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of clients, developing appropriate intervention strategies, and providing ongoing support to ensure the well-being of those you serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children, families, and vulnerable adults. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing crisis intervention and support during challenging situations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients. Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable individuals.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
