Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of families? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker for our Assessment (Family Support & Safeguarding) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing critical support to families in need while ensuring their safety and well-being.
As a Social Worker in this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans that promote family stability and safety. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to deliver comprehensive support services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities. Providing guidance and support to families to empower them in overcoming challenges.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
