We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Wolverhampton. This role is vital in ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families receive the support they need. As a Social Worker in this dynamic environment, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and other stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, documentation, and reports. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse client groups.
