We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection team in Nottinghamshire. In this vital role, you will work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being in various challenging situations. You will collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies to provide effective support and intervention, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support. Working closely with children, parents, and caregivers to understand their needs and provide appropriate interventions. Managing a caseload of complex cases while adhering to statutory guidelines and local policies. Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as necessary. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in child protection or similar fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
