Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection team. In this role, you will provide essential support and intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children, working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks, developing appropriate intervention plans. Working closely with families to provide support, guidance, and resources to facilitate positive change. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure comprehensive support for children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national policies. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required to safeguard children.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
