This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with families, communities, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children at risk.
As a Social Worker in Child Protection, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in partnership with families and relevant agencies. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and court proceedings as required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience in child protection or safeguarding work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
