Join our dedicated Children in Care Team in Coventry as a Social Worker and make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families. We are seeking a passionate and committed individual who is ready to support children in care and promote their welfare and development. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and healthcare providers, to ensure that the best interests of the children are always prioritized.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children in care. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children’s care plans. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and court proceedings as necessary.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after children setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
