We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children in Care team in Winsford, Cheshire West. This role is pivotal in ensuring the welfare and development of children in care, providing them with the support they need to thrive. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and a range of professionals to create a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practice in child welfare.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and working with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
