As a Social Worker in our Children's Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing and identifying the needs of children and families, ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with children, families, and other professionals. Conducting risk assessments and safeguarding investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Preparing reports and documentation for court proceedings and case reviews. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding plans.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
