Join our dedicated Emergency Duty Team in Dudley as a Social Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in crisis. As a vital member of our team, you will provide immediate support and intervention to those in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a compassionate approach and the ability to make swift decisions under pressure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing urgent situations and determining appropriate interventions for children and vulnerable adults. Providing crisis intervention and support to families in distress. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to develop and implement effective care plans. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in out-of-hours duty on a rotational basis, ensuring support is available 24/7.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working in a statutory social work setting, particularly in emergency or crisis situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse individuals and families. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
