We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Family Support and Safeguarding team in Newham. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families and children to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary resources and services. Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to family support. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and progress. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection, family support, or safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
