We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Family Support Team in Milton Keynes. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families to provide essential support and guidance, ensuring their well-being and fostering positive family dynamics. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of effective intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each family.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of family situations and needs. Developing and implementing individualized support plans in collaboration with families. Facilitating access to resources and services, including counseling, education, and financial support. Providing guidance and support to families in crisis, helping them navigate challenges effectively. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to family support.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized qualification in Social Work (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England or equivalent. Proven experience in family support or child protection services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively. Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and families.
