Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker in Fostering in the beautiful county of Gloucestershire. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with foster families, children, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing and supporting foster families to ensure they meet the needs of children in care. Conducting home visits and regular reviews to monitor the well-being of children and foster placements. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing guidance and support to foster carers, including training and resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in fostering or child protection services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
