Join our dedicated Fostering Team in Hampshire (East Hants Alton) as a Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and families. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families to identify appropriate fostering placements. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources needed to provide quality care. Conducting regular reviews and assessments of fostering arrangements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual children's needs. Engaging with children and families to promote their voices and ensure their needs are met effectively.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in fostering or child protection services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
