Join our dedicated team in Doncaster as a Social Worker in the Help & Protection department, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support. Providing advice, support, and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges. Participating in multi-agency meetings to promote coordinated approaches to safeguarding. Documenting casework accurately and maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with legislation.To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a compassionate approach to working with families, and the capacity to handle complex situations with professionalism. Experience in child protection and a thorough understanding of relevant legislation will be highly advantageous.
