Are you a dedicated and compassionate social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Social Worker specializing in Kinship and Special Guardianship Orders (SGO) to join our dynamic team in Bolton. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, families, and community partners to provide support and guidance, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children placed in kinship care or under SGO. Providing ongoing support and supervision to kinship carers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to advocate for the needs of children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Proven experience in child protection, kinship care, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
