Join our dedicated Locality Safeguarding Team in Worcestershire as a Social Worker, where your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within our community. In this dynamic position, you will work collaboratively with a range of professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement safeguarding measures that prioritize the welfare of children and families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and other stakeholders. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Working closely with partner agencies to share information and coordinate safeguarding efforts. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures.To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a safeguarding environment, preferably in children's services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
