Nottingham City Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. As a Social Worker in the MASH, you will be responsible for:
Conducting initial assessments and determining the level of risk to children and families. Collaborating with police, health services, and education professionals to gather information and make informed decisions. Developing and implementing intervention plans to support families in crisis. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing advice and support to colleagues and external partners regarding safeguarding concerns.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
