Join our dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Newham as a qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children and supporting families in need. As part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you will assess and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the well-being of vulnerable children and their families. Your expertise will help shape the future of our community, making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in line with statutory guidelines. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address identified needs. Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
