Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic PLO & Court Team in Bournemouth, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is committed to delivering high-quality support and intervention in complex cases.

As a Social Worker in our PLO & Court Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Representing the local authority in court proceedings, providing expert testimony and presenting evidence. Building strong relationships with families, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout the legal process. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery and safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and court work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a demanding caseload.
