We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Safeguarding team in Wellingborough, Northampton. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and healthcare providers, to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and implement safeguarding measures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child protection procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
