Join our dedicated team in Peterborough as a Social Worker specializing in Young People's Safeguarding. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, young people, and their families to ensure their safety and well-being. Your expertise will be essential in assessing needs, developing plans, and providing support to vulnerable individuals, making a real difference in their lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and young people at risk. Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to promote positive outcomes for young people. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in safeguarding practices and working with young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals. Ability to manage complex cases and work under pressure.
