We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Assessment Team within the Integrated Front Door in Solihull. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will lead and support a team of social workers, providing expert guidance and contributing to effective decision-making processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations. Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers, fostering their professional development. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective intervention strategies. Maintaining accurate case records and contributing to the continuous improvement of practice standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s social work, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
