Join our dedicated team in Solihull as a qualified professional in the Child Protection / Child In Need Team, where your expertise in the AHP field will make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families. This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that children receive the support and protection they need. You will be responsible for assessing and managing cases, developing care plans, and providing direct interventions to children and families in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing therapeutic interventions and support to children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant professional qualification in health, social care, or a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy). Experience working with children and families in a child protection or child in need setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
