We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people. In this critical role, you will work closely with separated minors, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their rights and access to essential services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of the needs of separated children and young people. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Providing direct support and advocacy for children and young people in care. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in working with children and young people, particularly those who are separated or unaccompanied. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
