Join our dedicated Assessment Team in Somerset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who is committed to providing high-quality assessments and interventions to those in need. In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be considered for this position, you must hold a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include:
Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in child protection or safeguarding. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
