Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with relevant legislation. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to facilitate timely interventions and support. Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
